Every fall, the WSS hosts an Annual Fall Golf Classic.
The day brings together old friends for 18 holes of golf and a western style BBQ to follow. Last year, 30 golfers turned out for a beautiful day at the Lake Arbor Country Club. As always, a few WSS members flaunted their superb skills on the links, while others were more adept with a cold can
of beer.
Play consisted of a two-man, best ball tournament.
Prizes were also given for "longest drive" and "closest to the hole" performances.
Fifteen teams vied for the winner's jacket, yet Isaac Edwards and Warren Dean walked away with the coveted
title. Patty McDonald and xxxx won the longest drive contest, while xxxxxx won closest to the hole.
To the victors went the spoils. Shawn Taylor won a travel bag from Orvis Outfitters. Triangle
