Members of the Wyoming State Society had a rootin' toootin' time at this year's Mountain West Tourney in Las
Vegas. Over 6,000 Wyoming fans traveled to Las Vegas to support the Wyoming Cowboys as they played their hearts out against Air Force and San Diego State.
Pokes fans went wild when, in the final four seconds of Wyoming's first round game against the Falcons, Marcus
Bailey hit a 3-pointer to send the game into overtime. Then, as time was winding down in OT, Uche Nsonwu-Amadi made two key free throws, putting the Cowboys in the lead
68-67. UW edged Air Force 69-67 to move to the second round of the Mountain West Tournament.
During the second round game against San Diego State, the Pokes lost the game when the Aztec's Al Faux put up a
15-foot jumper with 19 seconds remaining to give San Diego a 70-69 win - which knocked the Pokes out of the running for the championship.
In addition to attending games, State Society members enjoyed Sin City's other abundant activities.
